The Lamina Z Torch sleeping bag is a lightweight, synthetic bag designed to be as warm and compressible as down. It’s the warmest of the Lamina series, rated down to 5 degrees F. Because the insulation is thermally mapped i.e. zoned where your body needs it most, there is less bulk where you don’t need it. The bag weighs in at 4 lbs 4 oz and can pack down smaller than most 4-season bags (11.1 liters compressed). The insulation is also laminated to the fabric, which prevents heat loss from traditional stitching. The goal was a bag that’s not just warm, but comfortably warm.

By using my own compression sack I was able to pack it down even smaller than advertised…
